I went to a wedding a few months ago for one of my shipmates and I looked into the regulations about this. When it comes to weddings you actually do have a few options for uniforms. According to the manual you can wear the following uniforms, Formal Dress Blues (Formal Weddings only), Dinner Dress Blues (Formal Weddings only), Dinner Dress Whites (Officers Only), Full Dress Blue, Service Dress Blues 'Alpha' and finally your Service Dress Blues 'Bravos'. Now if it's a 'military style' wedding and your just a guest, you should wear one of the three Service Dress Uniforms, making sure not to dress more formal than the wedding party.

Thats actually required according to the manual. I would advice against wearing your trops. Trops are reserved for events when a tie isn't expected, and most weddings a tie would be expected.

My advice would be to just wear your Service Dress Blues 'Alphas'. The 'Alpha' uniform is just your 'Bravos' but with the white shirt and a black tie instead of the blue shirt. It's a little bit more formal than your regular bravos, but not to formal. Also if you have more than 1 row of ribbons, I would suggest purchasing your ribbons and your name tag from. Thin ribbons will look much nicer on a uniform than a regular ribbon rack.Uniform Manual:.

DENVER — Fire departments in the Denver area have ordered new uniforms in light of recent threats against law enforcement.reported that the West Metro (Colo.) Fire Department is having firefighters wear their Class C uniforms for a more casual look. Their other uniforms, which include a blue shirt with a collar and badge, look closer to a police officer’s uniform.Earlier this week, an anonymous caller to the Aurora 911 center said: “It’s time that you guys know we are no longer playing around with the police departments. Aurora and Denver, we are about to start striking fear shooting down all cops that we see by their selves. This will go for the sheriff’s department. You guys are evicting innocent people.

Let us catch you by yourself and it’s shots fired.”Many other departments in the area have changed to Class C uniforms. In Aurora, firefighters have been told to stop wearing their badges until further notice.Fire officials are unsure if the change will be permanent, but they do not want to take any chances.
